Text

(1)The Oregon Health Authority may accept funds, money or other valuable things from relatives, corporations or interested persons or organizations for the care and support of needy persons and may expend the same for the care and support of the individual or individuals for whom the moneys were paid.
(2)The authority may accept from individuals, corporations and organizations contributions or gifts in cash or otherwise that shall be disbursed in the same manner as moneys appropriated for medical assistance purposes, unless the donor of a gift stipulates a different manner in which a gift must be expended. Moneys received under this section shall be deposited with the State Treasurer in an account separate and distinct from the General Fund. Interest earned by the account shall be credit
