(1)As used in this section:
(a)“County veterans’ service officer” means a county veterans’ service officer appointed under ORS 408.410.
(b)“Veterans’ organization” means a veterans’ organization that has been accredited by the United States Department of Veterans Affairs.
(2)The Department of Veterans’ Affairs shall, in consultation with the Apprenticeship and Training Division of the Bureau of Labor and Industries, prepare written material in print or electronic form regarding opportunities to work as an apprentice, as defined in ORS 660.010, in this state. The department shall update the material at least once per calendar year.
(3)The Department of Veterans’ Affairs shall make the material described in subsection (2) of this section available on a website maintained by the departme
