(1)On or before January 1 of each odd-numbered year, the Oregon Department of Emergency Management shall estimate the expenses the department will incur in the biennium beginning July 1 of the same year to carry out the provisions of ORS 403.450, 403.455, 403.460 and 403.465 and section 1, chapter 825, Oregon Laws 2005. The department shall report the estimate to the Oregon Department of Administrative Services and the Legislative Fiscal Officer.
(2)The Oregon Department of Emergency Management shall charge an assessment to each public body in state government so as to recoup the costs estimated under subsection (1) of this section.
