The State Parks and Recreation Department may accept and expend, use or dispose of moneys and property from any public or private source, including the federal government, made available to the department in the form of grants, gifts, devises, bequests or endowments for the purpose of carrying out any of the provisions and purposes of ORS 390.140 to 390.150 or to facilitate the carrying out of any of the functions of the State Parks and Recreation Director under ORS 390.140 to 390.150.
