Text
(1)The Director of Transportation shall promulgate such regulations as are necessary to carry out the provisions of ORS 377.605 to 377.655. Except where federal law or rules and regulations require otherwise as a condition to receipt of federal granted funds, the rules shall be promulgated pursuant to ORS chapter 183.
(2)The director is authorized to enter into any necessary agreements with the United States Government or any officer or agency thereof authorized to make agreements pursuant to title 23, United States Code, relating to the control of junkyards in areas adjacent to the state highway system.
