Text

(1)When authorized by the Department of State Lands, it is lawful for any person, firm or corporation to construct, maintain and operate a skyline, high lead logging line, ferry skyline or cable footbridge across any navigable river, bay, inlet or other navigable waters within the state, not inconsistent with any Act of Congress regulating the construction of bridges across navigable waters. The structures shall be so constructed as not to interfere unnecessarily with the navigation of such navigable waters.
(2)The Department of State Lands may make and enforce such regulations and restrictions as it deems necessary to carry out the purposes of this section and may make reasonable charges for any services rendered in connection therewith.
