Text

(1)The Commission for the Blind shall ensure the active participation of the commission’s business enterprise consumer committee in the commission’s major administrative, policy and program development decisions that impact the commission’s business enterprise program.
(2)The commission shall provide relevant data and information to the committee in a timely manner in order to effectuate the committee’s active participation.
(3)The commission has final authority and responsibility for the administration and operation of the business enterprise program.
(4)If the commission does not follow a recommendation of the committee regarding a matter on which the committee actively participates, the commission shall provide to the committee a written explanation as to the reason the committee’s
