Text

Pursuant to rules of the State Board of Education, school districts shall submit a proposed budget for summer programs to the Superintendent of Public Instruction for approval. Upon completion of the summer program the claim shall be presented to the Superintendent of Public Instruction for reimbursement which shall be made only for the actual and approved expenses incurred in the program. Expenditures made by a school district in carrying out a summer program shall not be subject to the Local Budget Law (ORS 294.305 to 294.565).
