Text
(1)The Higher Education Coordinating Commission shall submit the question of any boundary change pertaining to a community college district subject to ORS 341.577 to a vote of the electors held the same day in both the original territory and the new territory.
(2)If the proposed boundary change is defeated in either territory, the same or a substantially similar change shall not be considered until at least 12 months have elapsed from the date of the election at which the proposed change was defeated. If the vote is favorable in both the original territory and the new territory, and subject to determination by the commission that there is a legislative appropriation to the Community College Support Fund established in ORS 341.620 to support the new district resulting from the boundary ch
