Text

It is the policy of this state to implement programs for early childhood education, for parenting education including instruction about prenatal care, for child-parent centers and for the Oregon Prenatal to Kindergarten Program. The Oregon Prenatal to Kindergarten Program shall be operated in coordination with the federal Head Start program in order to avoid duplication of services and so as to ensure maximum use of resources. The state shall continue funding the Oregon Prenatal to Kindergarten Program with a goal to have full funding for all eligible children.
