(1)The Department of Education shall establish and administer a grant program for the purpose of funding extended duty contracts in school districts to allow school district personnel to manage approved programs of study in agricultural science and technology during the summer months between school years.
(2)A school district that applies for a grant under subsection (1) of this section must demonstrate in the application that:
(a)Any teacher involved in the summer program of study in agricultural science and technology holds a valid Oregon teaching license, with an endorsement in agriculture, as described in rules of the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission;
(b)The school district has developed a calendar of activities that has been approved by school district administrative per
