Text

(1)Each biennium, the Governor shall propose as part of the Governor’s recommended budget an amount for deferred maintenance and capital improvements on existing state-owned buildings and infrastructure that is equivalent to at least two percent of the current replacement value of the state-owned buildings and infrastructure.
(2)As used in this section, “state-owned buildings and infrastructure” does not include:
(a)Buildings and infrastructure owned by or for the use of a public university listed in ORS 352.002 or a community college as defined in ORS 341.005; or
(b)Transportation infrastructure, including roads and bridges.
