Text

(1)The Oregon Department of Administrative Services shall adopt by rule a formula to determine the mileage limit for purposes of ORS 283.312. The formula shall define a mileage limit that is the mileage at which use of a state-owned standard passenger vehicle is more economical than use of a privately owned motor vehicle for official state business. For purposes of this subsection, the department shall adopt the formula in Secretary of State, Audit No. 97-36, State of Oregon Opportunities to Reduce State Employee Travel Costs, p. 29, app. A, exhibit 1 (April 17, 1997), or an equivalent formula.
(2)The department shall adopt by rule a replacement mileage standard for purposes of ORS 283.314. The replacement mileage standard is the mileage at which replacement of a standard passenger vehic
