Text

The Department of State Lands shall not call in question the title of any person to any swamp lands which the person may not have acquired by full and complete compliance with the preemption or homestead laws of the United States, nor shall the department sell to anyone any unsurveyed swamp lands, or swamp lands on which any settler shall have made and perfected bona fide legal entry under the laws of the United States. “Swamp lands,” as used in this section, means lands classified as swamp lands pursuant to ORS 273.251.
