Text

No person subject to civil service who has been permanently appointed under ORS 242.702 to 242.824 shall be dismissed, demoted, suspended without pay or deprived of special privileges except for cause, and then only upon the signed written accusation of the appointing power. A written statement of the accusation in general terms shall be served upon the accused, and a duplicate shall be filed with the commission.
