Text
The governing body or fire commission which appoints commissioners may remove any commissioner for incompetency, dereliction of duty or other good cause, after giving due notice in writing of the charges against the commissioner and an opportunity to be heard publicly on such charges before the body which appointed the commissioner. A copy of the charges and a transcript of the record of the hearing shall be filed with the governing body of the political subdivision.
