Text

(1)If after a hearing on the exceptions filed as provided in ORS 240.086 (2), it appears to the Employment Relations Board that the award should be vacated or modified, the board may by order refer the award back to the arbitrator with proper instructions for correction or rehearing. Upon failure of the arbitrator to follow the instructions, the board shall have jurisdiction over the case and proceed to its final determination by order.
(2)Review of arbitration awards shall be limited exclusively to that provided under ORS 240.086 and this section, except for such judicial review as may be provided for under ORS 183.480.
