Text

(1)The Willamette Falls Locks Authority shall appoint an executive director. The executive director is the executive officer of the authority responsible for day-to-day operations. Subject to the supervision of the authority, the executive director is authorized to direct the affairs of the authority. The executive director serves at the discretion of the authority and shall perform such duties as the authority prescribes.
(2)The executive director may employ subordinate employees as the executive director deems reasonable for carrying out business operations and the operation of the properties and facilities of the authority, including but not limited to the operation and maintenance of the Willamette Falls Locks project.
