Text

(1)A unit of local government established to deliver water may enter into a written agreement with any other such unit or units of local government for the performance of specified activities by a joint board of control composed of the district managers of the parties to the agreement. A joint board of control, at the direction of the parties to the agreement, may perform any or all functions and activities under the agreement that a party to the agreement, or its officers or agencies, has authority to perform.
(2)A joint board of control created under this section may undertake cooperative activities, such as:
(a)Sharing personnel;
(b)Entering into joint contracts for operations;
(c)Sharing use of equipment, facilities and fiscal resources;
(d)Preparing basin and subbasin conservati
