Text

(1)A law enforcement agency that participates in the development of the plan required by ORS 181A.780 (4) shall keep track of the expenses it incurs by reason of its participation. For purposes of this subsection and subsection (2) of this section, “expenses” includes, but is not limited to, personnel costs.
(2)The Department of Justice shall award a law enforcement agency one credit for each dollar of expenses incurred before July 1, 2008, by reason of the law enforcement agency’s participation in the development of the plan required by ORS 181A.780 (4).
(3)Notwithstanding ORS 181A.805 (2), when a law enforcement agency applies for a grant under ORS 181A.805, the department, to the extent that funds are appropriated to the department for the purpose, shall make a grant that exceeds 75
