Text

The President of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives each may appoint an interim staff to assist the President or Speaker during the period between sessions of the Legislative Assembly. Each presiding officer shall fix the compensation and prescribe the duties of the interim staff of the presiding officer. Expenses incurred for each interim staff appointed under this section shall be paid from amounts appropriated by law out of the General Fund for payment of the expenses of the Legislative Assembly.
