If a proceeding is pending against a protected person at the time of appointment of a conservator or is commenced against the protected person after appointment of a conservator, the plaintiff must give notice of the proceeding to the conservator or the attorney of the conservator if any judgment or order arising out of the proceeding will constitute a claim against the estate.
