Text
(1)The Council on Court Procedures shall elect five persons from among its members to serve as a legislative advisory committee. Two members of the committee shall be judges. Two members shall be licensees of the Oregon State Bar who are not judges. One member shall be the public member designated under ORS 1.730 (1)(e). The committee shall elect one of its members to serve as chairperson of the committee.
(2)Upon the request of the chairperson of a legislative committee considering legislation that proposes changes to the Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure, the legislative advisory committee established under this section shall provide technical analysis and advice to the legislative committee.
