§ 85-406 — Repealed

Repealed by Laws 2013, c. 208, § 171, eff. Feb. 1, 2014. NOTE: Subsequent to repeal, this section was amended by Laws 2013, c. 254, § 48 to read as follows: A. The chief administrative officer of the Multiple Injury Trust Fund shall be the MITF Director, who shall have supervision over the administration and protection of the Multiple Injury Trust Fund and shall be notified by the Administrator of the Workers' Compensation Court of all proceedings which may affect such fund. 1. The person serving as the Administrator of the Multiple Injury Trust Fund on the date of passage and approval of this act shall serve as the initial MITF Director, provided such person is serving as the Administrator of the Multiple Injury Trust Fund on the effective date of this act. 2. Except as provided in paragraph 1 of this subsection, the MITF Director shall be appointed by and serve at the pleasure of the Governor. B. The MITF Director shall have standing and the authority to appear in any case before the Workers' Compensation Court in which the Court is considering an award from the Multiple Injury Trust Fund. C. Any party interested shall have a right to bring a proceeding in the Supreme Court to review an award of the Court affecting such Multiple Injury Trust Fund, in the same manner as is now provided by law with reference to other awards by the Court. D. The State Treasurer shall allocate sufficient funds out of the Multiple Injury Trust Fund for administration expenses thereof in amounts to be fixed and approved by the MITF Director, unless rejected by the Governor and Attorney General. E. The MITF Director shall make reports regarding financial and claims data to the Governor, Workers' Compensation Court, and the Insurance Commissioner, upon request.
