protective work. Within one hundred eighty (180) days after the completion of construction of any flood control protective works, the floodplain board in the respective area of jurisdiction shall redefine the floodplain as altered by the works by amending the floodplain regulations pursuant to the procedures set forth in Section 1610 of this title.
