NEGOTIATIONS TO RESOLVE DIFFERENCES A. If the State of Texas enters into the Red River Boundary Compact in substantially the form provided in Section 2 of this act, the designee of the Oklahoma Red River Boundary Commission has the authority to negotiate with the appropriate Texas representative to resolve any differences between the States of Oklahoma and Texas regarding matters covered by the compact. The designee shall conduct the negotiations in cooperation with the Oklahoma Red River Boundary Commission.

B.The designee shall report annually to the Governor of this state, or more frequently if necessary, on the status of the negotiations.
