Text
In addition to any other authority or powers provided by law herein granted, the State Fire Marshal shall be authorized to: 1. Advise, assist and coordinate with the State Emergency Management Director in the development of Emergency Management plans; 2. Assist any city, town or county in the enforcement of the Codes herein adopted upon the request of the officials thereof; and 3. Serve as a code variance and appeals board for the trades and industries he or she regulates which do not have statutory code variance and appeals boards.
