Text

- Disposition of monies.

A.Each person transporting oil or gas or salt water who: 1. Willfully and knowingly fails to stop his vehicle when commanded to do so by any person authorized to stop and inspect a vehicle pursuant to Section 5 of this act; or 2. Willfully fails to permit inspection by such authorized person of the contents of the vehicle or the load ticket in the possession of such person or accompanying such vehicle, upon conviction, shall be punished by a fine of not less than One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) nor more than Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than six (6) months or by both such fine and imprisonment.
B.Any monies received from fines pursuant to this section shall be deposited pursuant to Section 4 of this act.
