A.Three (3) years after the State Board of Education approves an empowerment plan for a school, zone, or district, and every three (3) years thereafter, the school district board of education shall review the level of performance of the empowered school, zone, or district and determine whether the empowered school, zone, or district is achieving or making adequate progress toward achieving the academic performance results identified in the empowerment plan of the school, zone, or district. The school district board of education, in collaboration with the empowered school, zone, or district, may revise the empowerment plan as necessary to improve or continue to improve academic performance at the empowered school, zone, or district.
