Prohibition of reduction of wages, hours, fringe benefits or other benefits in agreement - Exceptions to prohibition. During the twelve-month period following the expiration of a collective bargaining agreement, no district board of education may reduce the wages, hours, fringe benefits or other terms and conditions of employment for any category of employees that were agreed to in the expired collective bargaining agreement, except pursuant to a subsequent collective bargaining agreement or pursuant to implementation of the plan filed by the district board of education with the State Superintendent of Public Instruction following exhaustion of the negotiations impasse process as provided in Section 509.7 of Title 70 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
