used or stored. The school board of each school district in Oklahoma shall provide respirators where needed in the opinion of the State Health Department as approved by the National Safety Council in sufficient numbers to protect teachers and students in industrial arts, vocational training, technical training and chemistry classes using or handling toxic materials or other substances which may cause damage to the respiratory system and shall further direct that such respirators be maintained in satisfactory working condition and are located within easy access wherever such materials or substances are used or stored.
