Text
The Library of Congress - Exchange agreements - Surplus publications. The Publications Clearinghouse, pursuant to exchange agreements, shall send copies of state publications to the official library of each of the states, territories, and possessions of the United States and to The Library of Congress, may exchange copies for the publications of other governments or organizations, and may send copies upon request to other entities or persons. The Department of Libraries may sell at the fair market value or otherwise dispose of any surplus publications. Any receipts shall be deposited pursuant to the provisions of Section 3-107 of this title.
