Text

A.As used in this section, “birthing center” has the same meaning as provided by Section 1-701 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
B.The Oklahoma Health Care Authority shall seek federal approval to allow a birthing center that is not licensed by the state but has been accredited as a freestanding birth center by the Commission for the Accreditation of Birth Centers to receive reimbursement under the state Medicaid program for services provided.
