assignment thereof - Penalties. Any person who shall alter or forge, or cause to be altered or forged, any certificate of title issued by the Oklahoma Tax Commission, pursuant to the provisions of this title, or any assignment thereof, or who shall hold or use any such certificate or assignment, knowing the same to have been altered or forged, upon conviction, shall be guilty of a Class D1 felony offense and shall be punished by a fine of not less than Fifty Dollars ($50.00), and not more than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00), or by imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F of Section 20N of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, or by both such fine and imprisonment, at the discretion of the court.
