Text
A.The Secretary of Health and Human Services shall, pursuant to the Public Health Service Act, P.L. 78-410, apply for grant funding from the United States Department of Health and Human Services for the purposes of: 1. Identifying health disparities related to sickle cell disease; 2. Assessing the utilization of therapies and strategies to prevent complications related to sickle cell disease; and 3. Other purposes permitted by federal laws and regulations.
B.The State Board of Health shall promulgate rules to implement the provisions of this section.
