§ 63-1-243 — Requirements concerning perinatal mental health

A.As used in this section: 1. "Hospital" shall have the same meaning as such term is defined in Section 1-701 of Title 63 of the Oklahoma Statutes; 2. "Licensed health care professional" means a licensed allopathic or osteopathic physician, a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or a licensed physician assistant; 3. "Postnatal care" means an office visit to a licensed health care professional occurring after birth, with reference to the infant or mother; 4. "Prenatal care" means an office visit to a licensed health care professional for pregnancy-related care occurring before birth; and 5. "Questionnaire" means an assessment tool administered by a licensed health care professional to detect perinatal mental health disorders, such as the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Sca
