Text

National Health Service Corps assignees. There is hereby created authority for county boards of health as established under Title 63, Chapter 1, Public Health Code, Section 1-202, to be the sponsoring agency for our National Health Service Corps assignees as established by Public Law 91-623, known as the Emergency Health Personnel Act of 1970. This authority with the concurrence of the Commissioner of Health shall extend to include the sponsoring agency establishing rules of collection of fees for such personnel and disbursement of the fees in accordance with agreements reached by the U.S. Public Health Service in the assignment of Corps personnel under the sponsorship of the county health board.
