The refrigeration system for a locker plant or branch locker plant shall be equipped with accurate and reliable controls for the automatic maintenance of uniform temperatures as required in the various refrigerated rooms and shall be of adequate capacity to provide, under extreme conditions of outside temperatures and under peak load conditions in the normal operations of the plant, the following temperatures in the several rooms, respectively: Chill room (a) Temperature of thirty-four degrees degrees above zero Fahrenheit (340F.) plus or minus two degrees (2 degrees) with a tolerance of five degrees Fahrenheit (50F.) for a reasonable time after fresh food is put in for chilling.
