Text
It is the intent of the Legislature, through enactment of the Information Technology Consolidation and Coordination Act, to: 1. Reform and consolidate the information technology structure, operations and purchasing procedures of the state to ensure that state government promotes and encourages private sector growth in a competitive global economy; 2. Move state government forward with respect to electronic purchasing, billing and payment services, and other transactions, to ensure that the state delivers essential public services to its citizens in the most efficient manner at the lowest possible cost to taxpayers; 3.
