It shall be unlawful and deemed a Class D1 felony offense for any person to publish, utter, or circulate any false, malicious, unprivileged statement or representation for the purpose of injuring any banking institution or credit union chartered, existing and doing business within the State of Oklahoma, under and by virtue of the laws of this state, or under and by virtue of the laws of the United States of America.
