There is hereby created the Athletic Trainers Advisory Committee, to be composed of five (5) members to be appointed by the State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision. To qualify as a member, a person must be a citizen of the United States and a resident of Oklahoma for five (5) years immediately preceding appointment. Two members shall be licensed athletic trainers, except for the initial appointees, and two members shall be physicians licensed by the state and one member shall be a member of the Oklahoma Coaches Association who shall be selected by the Board of the Association. Except for the initial appointees, members shall hold office for terms of six (6) years.
