or criminal prosecution. No person who is a licensed practitioner of a healing art in the State of Oklahoma, who in good faith renders emergency care or treatment at the scene of the emergency, shall be liable for any civil damages as a result of any acts or omissions by such person in rendering the emergency care or treatment, and no person who is a licensed practitioner of a healing art in the State of Oklahoma shall be prosecuted under the criminal statutes of this state for treatment of a minor without the consent of a minor's parent or guardian when such treatment was performed under emergency conditions and in good faith.
