registration. Any person who applies to become a licensed interior designer and remits the application and initial fees after July 1, 2007, shall be licensed by the Board of Governors of the Architects, Landscape Architects and Licensed Interior Designers of Oklahoma if an applicant demonstrates, in accordance with this act, or in compliance with the Military Service Occupation, Education and Credentialing Act and requirements as the Board adopts by rule, that the applicant has the interior design education and training that the Board deems equivalent to an accredited professional degree in interior design and the applicant has passed the examination of the Council for Interior Design Qualification or its successor, or an equivalent examination as determined by the Board.
