Text
the Armed Services. The Legislature hereby authorizes the public and private institutions of higher education and the career and technology centers in this state to utilize the Guide to the Evaluation of Educational Experiences in the Armed Services, published by the American Council on Education (ACE), to compare and apply academic credit for education, training and experience received through military duty or service which is applicable to the selected program of study for an honorably discharged military service member who becomes a student at an institution of higher education or career and technology center within three (3) years after separation from military service.
