Text

of office - Appointments.

A.The State Board of Pharmacy shall consist of six (6) persons, five who shall be licensed as pharmacists by this state and one who shall be a public member.
1.The pharmacist members shall be appointed by the Governor by and with the advice and consent of the Senate and shall: a. be registered and in good standing in the State of Oklahoma, and b. have been actively engaged in the practice of pharmacy within this state for a period of not less than five (5) years immediately prior to serving on the Board.
2.The public member shall be appointed by the Governor and shall: a. be a resident of the State of Oklahoma for not less than five (5) years, and b. not be a pharmacist or be related by blood or marriage within the third degree of consanguinity to a pharmacist.
