certain purposes. A pharmacist licensed by the State Board of Pharmacy may, in accordance with state and federal laws and rules, prescribe nonprescription drugs for the purposes of extemporaneous compounding or compounding for a known patient need in the practice area. The Board may promulgate rules to implement this section.
