Text

A.An applicant who meets the requirements for licensure required by the provisions of the Marital and Family Therapist Licensure Act, has paid the required license fees and has otherwise complied with the provisions of the Marital and Family Therapist Licensure Act, shall be licensed by the State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure.
B.Each initial license issued pursuant to the Marital and Family Therapist Licensure Act shall expire twenty-four (24) months from the date of issuance. A license may be renewed annually upon application and payment of fees. Failure to timely renew a license shall result in expiration of the license and forfeiture of the rights and privileges granted by the license.
