Retirement.

A.An applicant who meets the requirements for licensure pursuant to the provisions of the Licensed Professional Counselors Act, has paid the required license fees and has otherwise complied with the provisions of the Licensed Professional Counselors Act shall be licensed by the State Board of Behavioral Health Licensure.
B.Each initial license issued pursuant to the Licensed Professional Counselors Act shall expire twenty-four (24) months from the date of issuance unless revoked. A license may be renewed annually upon application and payment of fees. The application for renewal shall be accompanied by evidence satisfactory to the Board that the applicant has completed relevant professional or continued educational experience during the previous twenty-four (24) months.
