Office. The assistant representative referred to in Section 205 of this title is hereby authorized with the consent of the Governor to employ such clerical, technical and legal assistants as may be necessary for him to properly perform the duties assigned him, and to incur such other expenses as may be necessary to enable the State of Oklahoma to fully cooperate in accomplishing the objects of "The Interstate Compact to Conserve Oil and Gas." Said assistant representative and his assistants, and the Governor when acting in his capacity as official representative of the State of Oklahoma on "The Interstate Oil Compact Commission," shall receive their actual and necessary traveling expenses when away from the State Capitol in the performance of their duties, which shall be paid from the spec
