Text
Every public officer or employee who, in taking and subscribing to the oath or affirmation required by this act, states as true any material matter which he knows to be false, shall be guilty of the felony of perjury, a Class C2 felony offense, and upon conviction be punished by imprisonment as provided for in subsections B through F of Section 20M of Title 21 of the Oklahoma Statutes, and in addition thereto, the person shall forfeit any public office or employment held by the person.
